Bellefontaine’s baseball team swept a doubleheader with visiting West Liberty-Salem in commanding fashion Saturday at Blue Jacket Park.

The Chieftain offense led the way in game one en route to an 11-1 victory in six innings, while Tommy Belser and Lane Wisner combined for a no-hitter in a 5-0 BHS win in game two.
The pair of victories help the Chieftains move to 5-1 on the season, while the Tigers drop to 2-2.
In the first game, the Chieftain offense was fueled by Sam Martz and Connor Burton. Martz went 3-3 with five RBI and Burton went 2-3 with two doubles and three RBI. Chase Braun went 3-3, Tommy Belser and Cole Braun each had a double and two RBI and Turner Scott added a double and an RBI.
Cole Braun fired a three-hitter with four strikeouts to gain the win on the mound.
