Emily Fulmer has helped push Bellefontaine’s swim program to a new level over the last four years. Her prep success has fueled a desire to continue swimming in college.
Currently a senior at BHS, Fulmer recently made official her plans to attend and swim at Ohio Wesleyan University.
“They have strong academics and that was important to me,” said Fulmer of her decision. “They also have a gorgeous pool and a great coach. They had everything I was looking for.”
Fulmer said she also considered Denison University and Miami University before deciding on OWU.
“I am excited to see Emily continue her swim career into college for several reasons,” said Bellefontaine head coach Sharon Lewis. “First, it is great to see her love for swimming continue. Second, all of her hard work is paying off as she has not only had many outstanding accomplishments in high school but was recognized at the next level as holding potential and strength.
