Friday will mark the last time Bellefontaine and Tippecanoe play basketball against each other in the Central Buckeye Conference. The Chiefs want to send the Red Devils, who are leaving next season for the Greater Western Ohio Conference, off with a loss.
Bellefontaine will host the Red Devils on Friday look to avenge an earlier-season loss. Tippecanoe beat the Chiefs 54-49 on Jan. 5 in Tipp City.
“We must take care of the basketball better this time around,” said BHS head coach Henry Stolly. “We were forced into 15 turnovers last time.
“Also, we only shot three free throws in that first game. We must look to be more aggressive on offense and work to get more second-chance points through better offensive rebounding.”
