Indian Lake High School ceramics students are helping prepare pieces for an upcoming charity event to feed the hungry.
ILHS Art Teacher Erin Miller said four experienced art students recently volunteered to throw and glaze bowls at Buckeye Ceramics in Hilliard. Their creations will be sold at the Empty Bowls of Logan County Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.
During the event, patrons purchase a handcrafted bowl made by students and area artisans for $15 dollars and fill it with soup and bread from local restaurants, businesses and other participants.
