The Bellefontaine Police Department announces its next round of testing for the position of police officer.
In order to be eligible to proceed in the process, participants must first take the online exam through the National Testing Network.
This online registration process is managed by NTN itself, and not managed by the City of Bellefontaine. Each candidate must register themselves on the NTN website at the Bellefontaine Police Department location on their site.
After passing the written online exam, participants should follow the NTN’s process to send their scores to the Bellefontaine Police Department. Then, participants also must have also completed the BPD’s application.
Applications and NTN tests must be completed and returned to the Bellefontaine Police Department by 4 p.m. Friday, May 27, to be eligible.
Applications are available online at the police department’s website under the “Employment” tab (select NTN application), or by stopping by the agency, 135 N. Detroit St., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
The department can also send an electronic version to participants upon an e-mail request. Applications may be notarized the agency, upon request while you’re in-person.
Those who successfully apply and successfully pass the NTN test will participate in the physical agility testing. Two practices will be available on June 3 and June 8. The actual test is at noon Friday, June 10, at the Logan County Fairgrounds.
