David L. Thompkins, 30, of 1600 S. Detroit St., Apt. 27, was charged Friday with domestic violence.
Shortly before noon, officers met with Susan Howell, an aunt of Sara McKinnon who lives at the same address.
Howell told officers Thompkins allegedly threatened to get a gun and kill her niece.
Inside the apartment, officers found a damaged bedroom door that appear to have been punched with a fist.
Thompkins had left, but was located later.
Officers then met with McKinnon who was working. She had visible injuries from the earlier confrontation with the suspect.
He was lodged in jail.
Convicted drug dealer found once again with drugs
Tony M. Robinson, 25, of 212 Evansville St., was arrested Friday for trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Kristopher L. Dunn, 39, of 300 N. Detroit St., was stopped for driving under suspension, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
A digital scales for weighing drugs was in the vehicle and about 16 grams of crack cocaine were recovered from Robinson. Two smaller baggies with crack cocaine also were found on Robinson.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Officers noted in the report that Robinson was convicted of drug trafficking in 2012 and 2014 and both times was placed on probation.
In 2016, he was convicted of trafficking and sentenced to 15 months in prison. He was released Aug. 3, the officers report.
