Friends of Bellefontaine Police Officer Tyler Simpson are organizing a bowling tournament to benefit the family. Officer Simpson is recovering after a recent stroke and surgery to remove blood clots.

The nine-pin no tap singles tournament begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at T-P Lanes with event day registration beginning at noon. Cost is $20 per bowler.
