Benjamin Logan’s boys soccer team tied the school record in wins at 10 with a 3-0 victory over visiting Graham.
The Raiders are now 10-4-1 overall and 6-2-1 in the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division.
Ben Logan remains in first place in the Mad River division and faces second-place Northwestern on Wednesday for the league title.
“We needed this win tonight to put ourselves in a position to go to Northwestern on Wednesday and compete for a league title,” said BL head coach Jamie Hughes. “We had numerous opportunities in that first half to really put the game away but we finally got that third goal the second half and we kept enough pressure on Graham so that they really didn’t get much opportunity to score.
“We may not always win pretty but this team just tied a school record with 10 wins and we are playing for a championship on Wednesday. You can’t ask for a better opportunity than that.”
Trey Allen scored two goals and Tylor Cabot added a goal for the Raiders. Blaine Worden and Caleb Epp recorded assists.
Jonas Hoffman made two saves in goal as the Raiders notched their sixth shutout of the season, extending their school record for shutouts in a season.
