Bellefontaine High School robotics team of Ben Parson, Dustin VanBuskirk, Zane Warren and Micah Woolf have earned a position at the VEX World Robotics Competition in Louisville, Ky., in April, as a result of their performance at the VEX State Robotics Tournament March 1 and 2 in Marion.

During the state competition, the Team 9185A members earned awards for excellence in build, competition and skills. Team 9185A was selected to be on a team in the finals. They lost in the quarterfinals against the number one and two teams in the state, their instructor reported.
Team 9185 started the competition in 10th place in the state fortheir worlds skills ranking, so they were able to solidify one of the 17 spots to the international competition.
