Two Benjamin Logan High School students and a 2018 Benjamin Logan High School graduate are being recognized as the recipients of AP Scholar Awards from the spring 2018 test administration.
BLHS graduate Ray McCormick has received both the AP Scholar with Distinction and the National AP Scholar Award.
AP Scholar with Distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
The National AP Scholar is granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
Other AP Scholar recipients from BLHS include students Mei Carmer and Bryson Tipton.
Mei earned the AP Scholar designation, which is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
Bryson earned the AP Scholar with Honor designation, which is presented to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
