A second teen has been charged with allegedly threatening to take a gun to Bellefontaine High School during Wednesday’s active shooter drill.
Dorian Kilfian, 16, at large, was picked up Thursday by deputies of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for delinquency inducing panic. If he were an adult, the charge would be considered a felony, officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
Dorian does not attend BHS, but a BHS student overheard him say on Sunday that he was bringing a gun and “it wouldn’t be a drill.”
Authorities took extra steps to make sure he was not in the building prior to Wednesday’s drill.
Dorian was lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.
