Sarah E. Brandyberry, 35, of DeGraff, was taken into custody Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear.
She was at 450 Kristina Drive, Apt. 12B, when officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded to an overdose call at 6:10 p.m.
Inside the apartment’s bathroom, they found Bradley S. Couch of Bellefontaine naked and not breathing in a tub. Officers report they pulled the 39-year-old man from the tub and began chest compressions.
They were able to get him breathing heavily as paramedics with the Bellefontaine Fire and EMS Department arrived on scene. Paramedics administered two doses of Naloxone and Couch regained consciousness. Naloxone is only affective on victims of opioid overdoses.
Officers found a hypodermic needle on a counter in the bathroom and a foil wrapper in the toilet.
Dogs removed via court order
Officers responded to Brandy Durnell’s 300 N. Detroit St., Apt. A, residence Wednesday and carried out Bellefontaine Municipal Court Judge Ann Beck’s order to remove all dogs from the residence.
Durnell, 31, was found guilty of two counts of cruelty to animals and two counts of failing to register dogs.
Upon service of the order, she loaded two dogs into a cruiser. The dogs were turned over to the Logan County Dog Warden.
