Edith E. Adams, 80, formerly of Mt. Victory, died at her residence in Trotwood.
She was born Dec. 30, 1935, in Logan County to the late Ogden F. and Farest L. Sine Titus. On Oct. 18, 1952, she married her late husband Robert J. Adams.
Surviving are four sons, Tony L.(Ruth) Adams Sr. of Kenton, Michael E. (Laura) Adams of Mt. Victory, Duane C. Adams of Lima and William A (Kim Sheller) Adams Sr. of Kenton; one daughter, Lisa M. Cooper of Kenton; one sister, June Fogle of Tiffin; one brother, Bob Titus of Upper Sandusky; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Clinton A. Adams and Joshua D. Adams;two great-grandsons, Kaleb E. Messer and Lakota J. Berry; one brother, Raymond Titus; one sister, Ruth Bozman; and a special son-in-law, Kacy J. Cooper
Edith retired in 2011 from Mt. Victory Plaza Inn after 11 years of service.
Edith was a strong, caring, loving woman that enjoyed cooking and puzzles, but her greatest joy in life was her husband, family and friends. She attended the Church of Christ in Kenton.
The family would like to thank Dr. Joe Linscott and all the staff at Vita’s Hospice for their love, support, and excellent care of their mother. A special thank you to her granddaughter Tiffany (Cooper) Barnes for being a excellent caregiver.
Services for will be at 11 a.m. Friday Sept. 9, at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory with Pastor Willis Moe officiating. Burial will follow at Hale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
