Franklin L. Brandyberry, 52, of 180 N. Oak St., Lakeview, and Robert J. Price, 43, of 517 E. Chillicothe Ave., Bellefontaine, each was charged early this morning with two felony counts of breaking and entering, along with several other charges related to a theft at Stow-Away Storage.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle leaving the 1143 County Road 130, Bellefontaine, self-storage facility about 12:20 a.m. today and initiated a traffic stop.
After speaking with the two vehicle occupants, Mr. Brandyberry and Mr. Price, they also were charged with receiving stolen property, criminal trespass and possession of criminal tools. Mr. Price also was charged with having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
They were lodged in the Logan County Jail. Deputies said additional charges are possible upon further investigation.
• Deputies also are investigating two thefts from self-storage units at 212 Carlisle St., Quincy.
