Benjamin Logan’s baseball team turned in one of its best performances of the season Tuesday, beating visiting Graham 9-5 in a Central Buckeye Conference game.
The Raiders improve to 2-6 overall and 2-4 in the CBC. Graham drops to 7-2, 3-2.
After two scoreless innings to start the game, Ben Logan plated six runs in the third inning for a 6-0 lead. The Raiders added three runs in the third for a 9-0 advantage.
Graham scored all five of its runs in the fifth inning. Hunter Peterson was the winning pitcher. He worked four innings, allowed four earned runs, struck out three and walked seven.
Soli Hughes pitched three innings and gave up just one hit while striking out two and walking one.
Peterson went 2-3 with a double, Camden Spriggs had two RBI, Bryden Morris went 2-4 with a triple and two RBI, Hughes went 2-3, Keaton Horney had two RBI and Anthony Griffith had a double to lead the Ben Logan offense.
The Raiders are back in action today at Northwestern.
