Indian Lake wins fifth straight tourney
Indian Lake’s 10-and-under travel baseball team recently won its fifth consecutive tournament by winning the Summer Slam event in Kenton. The Indian Lake 10-and-under travel baseball team won its fifth straight tournament on Sunday in Kenton after winning the Summer Slam championship.
The Lakers defeated Maumee NWO Crush 11-6 and then lost to Kenton 7-2 in pool play. Indian Lake bounced back to beat Findlay 8-3 and Celina 9-8 in the semifinals. The Lakers avenged their earlier loss by beating Kenton 11-7 in the championship game.

The Indian Lake 12-and-under travel baseball team recently won the Kenton Summer Slam tournament over the weekend.
The Lakers defeated Findlay 11-1 and Kenton 13-2 in pool play. They went on to beat Kenton 14-4 in five innings in the semifinals and then dropped Ben Logan 10-2 in the championship game.
For Indian Lake, Reid Vance piled up 26 strikeouts and Lukas Wisener had 15 strikeouts.
