Caylee Wurster and Joey Davidson each earned wins to highlight Indian Lake’s effort in the annual Laker Invitational on Friday.

Wapakoneta swept the day by winning both meets.
In the boys meet, the Redskins piled up 190 points to grab the win. Waynesfield-Goshen was second with 145 points, Fairbanks took third with 103 points, Greenville was fourth with 102 points, Indian Lake took fifth with 64 points, Perry was sixth with 34 points, Calvary Christian took seventh with 31 points and Jackson Center was eighth with 23 points.
Wapakoneta won the girls meet with 189 points. The Redskins were followed by Greenville in second (139), Fairbanks in third (124), Jackson Center in fourth (82), Waynesfield-Goshen in fifth (77), Indian Lake in sixth (42), Perry in seventh (19) and Calvary Christian in eighth (1).
For the Indian Lake boys, Davidson won the shot put (43-6 3/4), was fourth in the 100 (11.51) and fifth in the discus (121-6).
Also for the IL boys, Silas Davis was third in the pole vault (12-0), the 400 relay team of Davidson, Mike Kimbler, Cole Merritt and Colton Wilson was third (45.12), the 800 relay of Troy Carter, Merritt, Justin Young and Wilson finished fourth (1:37.04) and Merritt finished fourth in the long jump (18-3) and fifth in the triple jump (34-11).
Wurster paced the Indian Lake girls, winning the 100 (13.03) and the 200 (27.45).
