Ray C. Gaines, 22, of Dayton, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct related to an incident Friday evening at the Honda East Liberty plant, 11000 State Route 347, East Liberty.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the plant about 11:10 p.m. after receiving a report from a man who identified himself as “Ray” and said he had been assaulted by several people.
Upon arrival, deputies observed a man near the plant entrance on S.R. 347. He reportedly was yelling at three security members who were on the other side of the fence separating the Honda property.
Gaines told deputies he was a “temp” and he had a problem with others at the facility that day, so he was told he needed to leave the plant.
Security members told deputies that they were contacted after Gaines allegedly had been threatening other staff members and was refusing to leave. Deputies said 14 witnesses were able to provide written statements regarding what had occurred.
The defendant was placed under arrest and lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Shawn T. Lisch, 33, of Springfield, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs relating to an incident early Sunday morning in Quincy.
Deputies responded about 1:45 a.m. to the area of Carlisle Street after a resident reported a pickup parked in the middle of the road with no headlights activated. The resident said he made contact with the male driver and observed signs of intoxication. He assisted the motorist with pushing the vehicle to a nearby gravel lot.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with Lisch, who was seated in the driver’s seat of the pickup and they observed his speech was slurred and he had a “sleepy appearance.” He told deputies that his pickup had broken down.
The defendant agreed to submit to field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. At the jail, he submitted to a urine test, with results pending. He also was cited for parking in the roadway and was released to a sober driver.

Deputies report she was operating a northbound 2018 Honda CR-V on Columbus Street about 2:50 p.m. when she stopped at the stop sign at Green Street. She then made a right turn onto Green Street and was sideswiped by an eastbound 2015 Hyundai Tucson operated by Charisma R. Thapa, 29, of Plain City. The impact sent both vehicles off the south side of the road into a parking lot.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene.
• Deputies also responded to a non-injury crash about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of County Road 111.
Clifford E. May, 51, of Bellefontaine, reportedly was operating a westbound 2003 GMC Sierra that was pulling a 20-foot trailer when the left side tire blew on the trailer, causing the trailer to go off the left side of the road. The axle on the trailer snapped and became disabled. No citations were listed with the report.
