LIMA — The Wings of Freedom Tour will arrive at Allen County Airport on Aug. 8 and depart Aug. 10.
It will feature World War II aircraft including the Nine O Nine B-17 Flying Fortress, Witchcraft B-24 Liberator, Tondelayo B-25 Mitchell and Toulouse Nuts P-51 Mustang.
The planes will arrived at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Ground tours are from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 9; and 9 a.m. to noon, Aug. 10.
The cost to explore the aircraft is $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
Rides in the B-17 or B-24 are $450 per person and last 30 minutes.
B-25 flights are $400 per person.
P-51 flight training is $2,200 for 30 minutes and $3,200 for an hour.
