The Knowlton Library, 220 N. Main St., hosts the following weekly activities in conjunction with the summer reading program, which runs from June 12 through July 26:
• Mondays — Writer’s Rule from 1:30 to 3 p.m. for grades 5-8, creative writing workshop with games, activities; and Summer Reading Program Family Edition evening edition from 6 to 7 p.m., hands-on-learning, activities, creative crafts with a different theme each week, for all ages.
• Tuesdays — Summer Reading Program Family Edition morning session from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for all ages; Family Summer StoryTime from 11 to 11:30 a.m., classic story time and activities; Quiet-Time Summer StoryTime from 1 to 1:30 p.m., classic story time, activities in relaxed setting, space limited to create a quieter atmosphere.
• Wednesdays — Little Ones Summer StoryTime from 9:30 to 10 a.m., children ages birth through 5; Kindergarten and First-Grade Summer Reading Program, 11 a.m. to noon; Second- and Third-Grade Summer Reading Program, 1 to 2 p.m.; Fourth-, Fifth- and Sixth-Grade Summer Reading Program, 3 to 4p.m.
