Danielle Chilcoat, 25, of Wapakoneta, was charged with domestic violence and disorderly conduct relating to an incident Saturday evening.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department on patrol about 7:05 p.m. observed an intoxicated woman in the 8800 block of Township Road 239. Upon speaking with the female, she was identified as Chilcoat.
She was observed to be heavily intoxicated and stated she drank nearly an entire bottle of whiskey. The defendant stated she got into a physical altercation with her boyfriend and he dropped her off in the area. Officers made contact with the boyfriend and he had visible injuries from being assaulted by Chilcoat.
She was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Alton Stotler, 45, of Lakeview, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs relating to an incident early Sunday morning, officers report.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to a trespassing complaint near Huntsville. While deputies were responding, the caller stated a male suspect left the residence and was highly intoxicated.
Washington Township officers observed a motorcycle driven by what was believed to be the trespassing suspect identified as Stotler on U.S. Route 33 near Township Road 94.
A traffic stop was initiated on Stotler. Officers immediately observed signs of impairment. Stotler reportedly refused field sobriety tests but admitted to drinking earlier in the evening. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan county jail.
The defendant was offered a breath test and refused. Stotler also was cited for no operator’s license.
