Virginia Ann Hulbert, 84, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday morning, April 11, 2016, at Logan Acres Senior Community, Bellefontaine.
Born March 13, 1932, in Huntsville, to the late Alvin and Martha Herren Wallace, she also was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Birt; two sisters, Dorothy Taylor and Carol Graham; and four brothers, Robert, Max, Carl and Donald.
On July 23, 1965, she married Junior Robert Hulbert in Huntsville and he survives, along with two sons, Ron (Denise) Birt of West Union and Kurt (Lorie) Hulbert of Huntsville; nine grandchildren, Jacob Hulbert, Andrew Hulbert, Holly Washington, Lori Birt, Joe Birt, Kyle Birt, Jeff Birt Jr., Amy Birt and Brandi Birt; 12 great-grandchildren, Braydon Hobart, Evan Birt, Noah Birt, Alexis Birt, Noemi Washington, Nahla Washington, Conner Knipple, Aiden Henry, Mandy Birt, Meagene Birt, Jeffrey Birt and Connor Dixon; a sister, Mildred Shepard of Kentucky; four sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Wallace, Sybill Wallace and Betty Wallace, all of Huntsville, and Pat Wallace of Bellefontaine; and several nieces and nephews.
A 1950 graduate of Huntsville Schools, Virginia worked at Campbell’s Pharmacy in Lakeview and later retired from Precision Custom Products in DeGraff.
She was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed traveling with Junior and loved being with her family and watching her grandchildren’s activities.
The Rev. Bryan Meadows begins a funeral at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at Huntsville United Methodist Church, with visitation two hours prior. Burial is at a later date in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire.
Memorial contributions may be given to Logan County Cancer Society in care of Mary Rutan Hospital.
