Two out-of-county suspects were arrested and charged early Friday for possession of drugs and underage consumption after allegedly creating a disturbance in Russells Point.
Officers of the Russells Point Police Department responded shortly after 2 a.m. to the area of Bristol Circle and Sunnyside Avenue on a report of two male subjects banging on resident’s doors.
Police quickly spotted a blue Ford Taurus idling in the driveway of a vacant home, and attempted contact with the vehicle that did match the description of witnesses.
Driver Mitchel D. Bachman, 19, of Wauseon and a passenger in that car, Matthew Oberhaus, 20, of Napoleon, reportedly told officers that they were knocking on doors in search of their intoxicated friend whom they believed resided in that area near the ball fields.
Criminal indicators were observed and a search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Oberhaus was charged with underage consumption, possession of marijuana, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
