Ryan R. Perez, 19, at large, was charged Monday with domestic violence after he allegedly shoved his ex-girlfriend against a garage at 120 Lincoln Ave.
Destiny Dick told officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department she was walking with Perez in the early morning hours and with her current boyfriend Jonathan Coulter.
Upon arriving at 120 Lincoln, where Perez is temporarily staying, the defendant became agitated, stating Dick should be with him not Coulter.
When she said that was not going to happen, he pushed her hard into the garage.
She told officers her shoulder and back hurt from the impact. She also showed officers visible injuries to her left arm where Perez allegedly grabbed her.
Soon after taking the 5:30 a.m. report, officers found Perez walking nearby and arrested him. He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
