Triad’s girls delivered the best performance of the area’s golf teams Thursday at the Raider Invitational as the Cardinals finished sixth in the 10-team event.

Fairbanks won the tournament with a 347, while Kenton Ridge claimed the runner-up spot with a 377. Beavercreek was third with 398, North Union was fourth with 409 and Piqua came in fifth with 421.
The Cardinals finished sixth with a 451, Northwestern was seventh with 456, Riverside took eighth with 461, the host Raiders were ninth with 491 and Northeastern rounded out the team scores in 10th with 502.
Kenton Ridge’s Layne Greenwood and Beavercreek’s Sarah O’Connor were co-medalists with 82s.
Macy Linscott led Triad with a 100. Jess Woodard and Jen Pelfrey each carded 114, Kayleigh Boldman shot a 123 and Kallie Smith had a 140.
