Treva Craft Smith, 72, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at her home.
Treva was born Jan. 29, 1945, in Gauge, Ky., a daughter of the late William and Stella Pitts Craft. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Connie Craft, two brothers, Harrison and Leroy Craft, and a brother-in-law, Frank Gressner.
Treva is survived by four children, Bill (Jan) Hickey of Cropwell, Ala., Kimberly (Harvey) Burgess of King George, Va., Randy Hickey of Texas and Eric (Christina) Hickey of Jackson Center; seven grandchildren, Miranda Hickey, Elizabeth Hickey, Blake (Elizabeth) Burgess, Katey (James) Harrod, Connor (Danielle) Burgess, Misti Campbell and Stasha Hickey, seven great-grandchildren, Logan Thompson, Treyce Thompson, Aiden Leonhart, Bryce Vaughn, Elliot Burgess, Nolan Burgess and Torin Burgess, five siblings, Ballard (Carolyn) Craft of Huntsville, Wanda Gressner of Lewistown, Gloria (Douglas) Morris of DeGraff, Sharon (Tom) Wireman of Elida and Karen Helms of Bellefontaine; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Craft of Petersburg, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
Treva worked at Aunt Millie’s in Russells Point for many years. She enjoyed sewing, doing arts and crafts, baking and cooking. She loved being with her family and attending her grandchildren’s events.
Memorial services are at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec.11, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, following calling that begins at 11 a.m. Inurnment is in Huntsville Cemetery.
