Steven Jeanneret, 24, of Huntsville, was charged with a felony count of possession of drugs, along with possession of marijuana, during a traffic stop about 8:20 p.m. Thursday.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department on patrol in the area of US Route 33 and Township Road 94 spotted a vehicle that failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and initiated the stop.
While speaking with the driver, Jeanneret, he advised officers he did not have a driver’s licenses.
Officers noticed signs of criminal indicators and asked Steven to exit the vehicle. Officers recovered 1.1 grams of crack cocaine on Jeanneret and also located marijuana inside the vehicle.
Jeanneret was taken into custody, and officers note that he also had a warrant out for his arrest.
He was cited for a stop sign violation, driving under an OVI suspension, failure to reinstate, 12- point suspension, driving under non-compliance suspension, and driving without a license.
He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
