Todd Cobb, 42, of New Carlisle, was charged with a felony count of possession of drugs, along with possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited for driving under suspension during a traffic stop Monday evening.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department reportedly observed his vehicle in the area of State Route 235 and Township Road 27 and learned that the owner of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license. The traffic stop was initiated about 6:10 p.m.
While speaking with Cobb, officers detected the odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle was conducted and officers reportedly located methamphetamine, marijuana, two meth pipes and other drug-related items.
Cobb was then placed under arrest and was booked into the Logan County Jail. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
