West Liberty-Salem’s baseball team collected 10 hits, but managed only three runs in an 8-3 loss to visiting Fairbanks in Ohio Heritage Conference action Tuesday.

The Tigers drop their record to 7-11 overall and 6-8 in the OHC North standings. The Panthers move to 12-6, 8-5. Fairbanks built a 6-1 lead after four innings.
WL-Salem scored two runs in the fifth inning to make the score 6-3. The Panthers tacked on two more runs in the sixth inning for an 8-3 advantage.
