Trinity L. Burton, 27, and David F. Hill Jr., 31, both of 720 W. Columbus Ave., Apt. 4, each was charged with domestic violence after they fought around 11:15 p.m. Sunday.
Hill, who also was charged with obstruction of official business for repeatedly interrupting officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department, was transported by a Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of a hand injury.
Burton was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Darrell E. Artis, 49, of 1000 Garfield Ave., Lot 11, was charged Saturday with domestic violence.
He allegedly struck Jacqueline Edmister, of the same address, in the face. She had visible injuries to her left eye and a bloody nose from the 2:30 a.m. altercation.
He was found inside and arrested despite the effort of Anna Morris, Edmister’s daughter, to keep officers out of the residence. Morris repeatedly denied Artis was inside.
Officers have referred the case to prosecutors for consideration of obstruction charges against Morris.
Motorist faces OVI charge
Dune A. Davis, 21, of 425 E. Auburn Ave., was charged Sunday with OVI and cited for a marked lanes violation, an improper turn and failure to signal.
He was stopped around 2:50 a.m. after an officer observed him driving a vehicle westbound in the eastbound lanes of west Sandusky Avenue across the railroad overpass.
Upon approaching the motorist, an officer detected an odor of alcohol and burnt marijuana.
Field sobriety tests indicated he was impaired. He submitted a breathalyzer sample of 0.13 and urine for drug testing.
