A year ago, on July 24, 2020, Thomas Arthur Jackson passed away in Bloomfield, NY, where he lived. We are remembering him on the one year anniversary of his death.
Tom was born February 13, 1947 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Shirley and Floyd Jackson of Middleburg, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald (Joyce) Jackson, and is survived by his sister Dixie (Dale) Epps of Grass Valley, Calif., and a brother Timothy Jackson of Mt. Home, Idaho.
On May 16, 1970, Tom married Sally Fenwick and she survives in Stuart, Florida. Tom is also survived by three children, Laura (Jay) Helker of Bloomfield, NY, Courtney Weber White of Dublin, Ohio, and Daniel (Emily) Jackson of Cheyenne, Wyoming, along with five grandchildren, Natalie and Owen Helker, Andrew Weber, Finn Jackson and Jamar White as well as several nieces and nephews.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force Tom was stationed in Homestead, Florida as a jet mechanic. He served tours of duty in Korea and Japan.
Tom worked in the Weld Department at Honda of America in Marysville, Ohio, for many years, once earning a brand new Honda Odyssey van for submitting many safety suggestions to the company.
After retiring from Honda, Tom became an avid collector and enjoyed selling various antique and collectible items at the large Scott’s Antique Show in Columbus, Ohio, during the winter months. He loved to fish for bass at Indian Lake and many other spots. He also enjoyed archery. Tom was a faithful provider for his family.
Tom is missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
