Rozlynn N. Estep, 18, of DeGraff, was transported by Riverside EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries sustained in a crash Monday afternoon.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating an eastbound 2008 Chevrolet Impala on Township Road 45 just east of Township Road 205 about 4:55 p.m. during rainy conditions. She reportedly drove left of center and struck a westbound 2014 Ford Fiesta operated by Gary E. Neff, 46, of DeGraff, in a head-on collision.
Neff was checked at the scene of the crash by Riverside EMS personnel for possible injuries, but he was not transported.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene.
Estep was cited for a lanes of travel. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
• Richard E. Burke, 36, of Bellefontaine, was treated at the scene of a Monday afternoon crash on U.S. Route 33 for minor injuries by Perry Township EMS personnel, but was not transported from the scene.
Deputies report he was operating an eastbound 2017 Hyundai Sonata in Perry Township about 3:50 p.m. when he drove off the left side of the road, into the median and then into the westbound lanes. His vehicle struck a westbound 2016 Toyota Rav 4, operated by Edwin T. Shirey, 63, of Lewistown.
Shirey also was checked at the scene by Perry Township EMS, but did not report any injuries. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
The drivers were wearing their seat belts. Burke was cited for a marked lanes violation.
