LINTON |
A Quincy woman was arrested at her 311 S. Carlisle St. home Tuesday when she returned from a trip to purchase heroin.
Detectives with the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force had been investigating Miranda L. Linton, 36, and suspected she was regularly going to Dayton to buy heroin.
She was confronted around 11 a.m. by detectives and eventually retrieved heroin wrapped in plastic from her bra. She admitted purchasing the drugs.
Task force investigators believe the seized heroin may be fentanyl or a mixture of heroin and fentanyl.
A sample will be tested at a laboratory.
Linton was charged with fourth-degree felony possession of heroin and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
