Jeffrey A. Boysel, 38, of Columbus, was arrested Thursday at Super 8 Motel, 1117 N. Main St.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department converged on the motel at 4 a.m. to arrest the suspect who was wanted in Franklin County on 11 counts of breaking and entering.
The department’s canine handler spotted the suspected earlier in a car while on patrol and later learned of the warrants.
The canine team entered the motel with other officer and proceeded to Boysel’s room.
He complied with orders to exit the room with his hands visible and was taken into custody.
Officers recovered methamphetamine in the room and charged Boysel with possession of drugs. He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
• Alison R. Haven, 33, at large, was taken into custody on a failure to appear warrant around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday while walking along Detroit Street near Carter Avenue.
• Douglas Boggs, 38, of 3329 E. State Route 47, was lodged in jail Monday for violating probation.
