A trackhoe hoists a steel piling into the air Tuesday at the Indian Lake spillway along State Route 366 east of Russells Point as crews from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources remake the spillway into a labyrinth design to help control lake overflow. Crews began in June and have completed the western half of the spillway. The $7.6 million project is on pace to be completed next spring as scheduled, according to ODNR. (EXAMINER PHOTO | NATE SMITH)
