A 3-on-3 basketball tournament that is expected to draw youths from around Ohio and a bicentennial parade are among new events being planned for downtown Bellefontaine this summer.

The Downtown Business Partnership kicked off its summer activities Thursday with a brand new Party at the Peak concept, which is a weekend-long promotion.
The slate of events will also include an Art and Wine Walk on Thursday, June 7, and a Summer Sizzler event in conjunction with the July 28 and 29 basketball tournament being organized by Union Station.
