Sharon Sue Chism, 76, of Killeen, Texas, and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday morning, November 21, 2021, at Baylor Scott White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Sharon was born in Bellefontaine on December 21, 1944, to the late Edward A. Moyer and Bertha Mae Spillman Moore. She married Marvin E. Chism on March 28, 1965, and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2021. She was also preceded in death by sisters Gladys Irene Kerns and Pamela Ann Simpson.
Sharon is survived by a son Paul (Gale) Chism of Bellefontaine; daughter Meredith (Dave) Groves of Sidney; 6 grandchildren: Maryann (Kelby) Wallace, Brian Crowley, Joseph Slavin, Teighlor Chism, Melissa Groves, and Andrew Groves; 9 great-grandchildren: Mackenzi, Damian, Jayce, Amira, Paizlyn, Dominic, Marilyn, Aria, and Violet; a sister-in-law Kitty Chism of Arkansas; and nieces and nephews: Krista Chism of Denver, Doug Chism of Virginia, Paula (Don) Nash of Huntsville, and Jan (Dan) Whetstone of Iowa.
Sharon was a member of Eagles Auxiliary #2166, where she was a Past Madam President and Past District Leader. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, family genealogy, camping, vacationing, and she loved the ocean. Sharon treasured the time she spent with her family, and her fur babies.

A joint celebration of Marv and Sharon’s lives will be held at a later date.
