When very few were watching, Benjamin Logan’s girls golf team was at its busiest hitting the course throughout the spring and summer.

A seventh-place finish at the Division II state tournament last fall drove the Lady Raiders to work even harder this past offseason.
That has paid dividends this year with seven tournament wins, including league, sectional and district championships, along with a second consecutive state berth to this weekend’s Division II meet in Columbus.
“We believe the off-season work, tougher schedule and the confidence from all the success last season has led to our success this season,” said BL head coach Tiann Harner.
“They accomplished things last year I don’t believe anyone really thought was possible. They now know that they can do it and have been driven.”
