Trey addressed the topic of a person’s life legacy. Also participating were Derek King of Calvary Christian High School, whose topic was terrorism; and Mia Printz of CCS, who looked at self-respect.
The students were required to consider their chosen theme against the standards of Rotary’s 4-Way Test:
• Is it the truth?
• Is it fair?
• Will it build goodwill and friendships?
• Is it beneficial to all involved?
Each presentation was required to be four to six minutes in length and memorized.
Trey will represent the club at the district competition at Wright State University on April 2. Mia placed second and received $100 and Derek received $50 for third.
