Robert “Bob” M. Price Clark, 77, of Lakeview, OH passed away Saturday morning, April 23, 2022, at Mary Rutan Hospital Emergency Department, Bellefontaine, OH.
Robert was born on June 29, 1944, in Xenia, OH, one of 15 children of the late Edith and Milo Price. He was adopted by Arthur and Helen Clark, and they preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by 13 siblings.
Bob married Janet Henselman on January 10, 1999, and she survives. He is also survived by five children, Mike (Cindy) Clark of Huntsville, OH, Lori (Jeff) Herring of Lakeview, Kim (John) Wells of Belle Center, OH, Bobbi Jo Clark of Columbus, OH, and Scott (Josette) Clark of Russells Point, OH, two stepdaughters, Angie (Bob) Bump and Amie (Jason) Huffman, both of Huntsville, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister, Patty Hawk of Dayton, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was a retired corporal of the United States Marine Corps, serving during Vietnam. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star with Valor, two combat promotions, one unit citation, and Presidential Appreciation Award. Bob was a life member of Disabled American Veterans, and Doyle R. Miller Amvet Post #39 in Lakeview, and a member of Bellefontaine VFW Post #1080, Harold Kerr American Legion Post #173 and Lakeview Missionary Church.
Memorial services will be noon, Friday, April 29, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview with visitation from 11 a.m. to noon. Inurnment with military rites performed by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard and Amvet Post #39 Honor Guard will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Bob’s memory may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warriors Project.
