Riverside and Ridgemont finished the regular season by competing in the Northwest Central Conference finals Saturday at Waynesfield Goshen High School.
The Gopher girls led the local teams by placing fourth and the Pirates were the top boys team by coming in fifth.
Host W-Goshen claimed the boys NWCC championship in convincing fashion with 148 points. Upper Scioto Valley came edged Hardin Northern for the runner-up spot 82-81. Elgin took fourth with 67 points, Riverside finished fifth with 38 points and Ridgemont was ninth with 11 points.
