Pirates’ Davis earns first-team honor
Priscilla Howland has been a big factor in the surge of Ridgemont’s girls basketball program. She was honored for her impact by being named the Northwest Central Conference player of the year.
Howland led the Gophers to a second-place tie with Lehman Catholic in the NWCC standings this year.
Bob Douds, who led Elgin to a perfect 7-0 league mark and the NWCC title, was tabbed the coach of the year.
Joining Howland on the allleague first team was Riverside’s Marissa Davis.
