Benjamin Logan’s baseball team was awarded the top seed for the upcoming Springfield Division II sectional tournament during Sunday’s draw meeting.
The Raiders took a first-round bye and will play at home Thursday, May 16, against the winner of the first-round game between Graham and Northwestern.
Bellefontaine is seeded sixth in the Division II sectional. The Chiefs face third-seeded Springfield Shawnee on Tuesday, May 14, in Springfield.
In Division III, Indian Lake received the 10th seed for the Dayton super sectional. The Lakers host 13th-seeded Troy Christian on Wednesday, May 15.
Also in Division III, 16th-seeded West Liberty-Salem will play a first-round game against host Miami East, the 15th seed, on Monday, May 13.
Triad picked up the fourth seed for the Dayton Division IV sectional. The Cardinals open at home May 13 against Mississinawa Valley.
Riverside, which is seeded 10th, will begin Division IV sectional action at eighth-seeded Houston on May 13.
