For the third time in her career, Benjamin Logan’s Nikki Current has been named the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division girls basketball player of the year.
Current, who went over the 2,000-point mark for her career this winter, led the conference in scoring at 26 points per game.
The senior guard was joined on the Mad River division first team by Ben Logan teammate Savannah Pavoni and Indian Lake’s Kaylee Shelton.
Benjamin Logan’s Stevie Plikerd and Pamela Kelly and Indian Lake’s Kristen Young were selected to the Mad River second team.
The Raiders’ Nya Worrell and the Lakers’ Jenni Kaffenbarger were special mention selections for the Mad River division.
On the Kenton Trail division side, Bellefontaine’s Emily Mitchell was named to the first team.
The Chiefs’ Aubrey Stolly was a second-team selection and Hannah Rader was an honorable mention picks.
