Christopher A. Clark, 41, of Sidney, was charged with public intoxication following an incident Sunday at Froggy’s, 11065 Township Road 293, Lakeview.
A deputy of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office who was working a security detail at the bar was contacted about 5 p.m. regarding a patron who was extremely intoxicated and had fallen down in a restroom.
A short time later, other patrons informed the deputy that intoxicated man, Mr. Clark, was attempting to hide from the deputy in the pool area. The defendant reportedly was breathing through a straw so he could stay underwater.
Once Mr. Clark was escorted out of the pool, the deputy attempted to help him arrange for a ride home, with no success. He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
