The threat of a storm May 3 convinced the staff at Marmon Valley Farm to postpone their National Tourism Week event, rescheduling it for Tuesday, May 10. Although the weather was warm and sunny, the turnout was small turnout for the event featuring putt-putt, pony rides and a hayride for $10 per child. The Denbow family of Bellefontaine, however, did take advantage of the opportunity. Tanner Denbow, 8, rides one of the farm’s ponies while his dad, Tom, leads the way. Watching, from left, are Juliene Myers, Marmon Valley trail guide and part-time riding instructor, Tanner’s sister, Arrisa, and his mom, Trista. (EXAMINER PHOTO | SHARYN KOPF)
