A Bellefontaine man was charged Monday with gross sexual imposition and public indecency after he allegedly exposed himself to the victim.
Lonnie Newland, 53, of 404 Wren Ave., denied the accusation, but was arrested on the 16-year-old’s complaint.
The victim told officers he was in the neighborhood with a fellow baseball teammate selling discount cards door-to-door as a fundraiser for the team.
Mr. Newland allegedly answered the door and invited the victim into the residence to keep the heat in. The victim noticed the suspect’s penis was exposed so he left and reported the incident.
He was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Robert J. Wolfenberger, 35, of Hilliard, was charged Tuesday with telecommunications harassment.
Officers report he showed up at Shana Cook’s 321 Lawrence St. residence around 4:45 a.m. She said she had ended a relationship with suspect last year and had told him in March to stop sending texts to her.
After a rambling conversation with the suspect, officers became suspicious of the man’s mental health. He was arrested and lodged in jail.
