Riverside overcame a two-point deficit with a big fourth quarter to beat host Bellefontaine 50-40 in a non-league girls basketball game Monday night.
The Pirates improve to 9-3 on the season and the Chiefs fall to 2-13.
Riverside led 10-8 after one quarter before Bellefontaine moved ahead to take a 20-18 lead at halftime.
The Chiefs stayed ahead by two points (30-28) after three periods.
Riverside grabbed the momentum in the final stanza, outscoring the hosts 20-8 to grab the win.
Lauryn Sanford scored a game-high 20 points to power the Pirates. Olivia Perk had 15 points and Allison Knight added nine points.
Lexi Robinson led the Chiefs with 11 points, Tayteum Vigansky scored 10 points and Carmen Shumaker and Kailynn Kenner each had six points.
In the junior varsity game, Bellefontaine won 28-23. Ellie Mitchell led the Chiefs with nine points and Keianna Notestine had nine points to lead the Pirates.
Bellefontaine is back in action Wednesday at Springfield Shawnee and Riverside visits Elgin on Thursday.
