Phyllis Joan Dunlap, 86, formerly of Belle Center, passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 13, 2017, at Green Hills Care Center, West Liberty.
She was born in Quincy on Aug. 30, 1931, to the late Blaine G. and Mary E. DeVelvis Heath. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Heath.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Carl Dunlap, whom she married Nov. 30, 1948, in Indiana. She is also survived by daughters, Sharon (Mahmood) Ismail, Marsha (Dennis Guidry) Dunlap and Christine Dunlap; a sister-in-law, Lynda (Don) Evans; and several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was a factory worker at Siemens in Bellefontaine and retired after 44 years of service. She enjoyed quilting, painting and various other crafts over the years. Phyllis enjoyed camping with Carl and they were members of the Kenton Koffee Kups.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the special friends who have been by their side.
A graveside service will be at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
