Susie Jarvis and Angel Daniels are celebrating the opening of their new 119 W. Chillicothe Ave. storefront for The Photo Booth & The Bridal Booth with a 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday grand opening event that will feature food, studio tours and prize giveaways.
Mrs. Jarvis originally opened her studio The Photo Booth in the Main Street Marketplace in May 2015, but knew she would like a location with more space and street visibility. Mrs. Daniels had operated a wedding photography business while she was living in Hilliard and wanted to get back into the trade locally.
While Mrs. Jarvis said she has shot numerous weddings, the stress of that particular line of work is not among her favorite aspects of the art and she knew a partner with a strong background in that area would be a perfect fit.
“She (Mrs. Daniels) really loves shooting weddings and I am good at the design work and enjoy working with babies or seniors,” Mrs. Jarvis said.
“We really complement each other and we have a very similar photography style,” said Mrs. Daniels. “When you look at our work side by side, it is very cohesive. So this really made sense.”
